Hadi – Delete Account

Delete your Hadi account and data

You can delete your Hadi account and its associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

In the app

Open Hadi, go to Settings → Account, and choose Delete account. This removes your account immediately, along with everything stored against it. If you signed in with Apple, you will be asked to confirm with your Apple ID so we can fully unlink the app from it.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email outreach@middlecommunity.org from the email address on the account, with the subject “Delete my Hadi account”. We may ask you to confirm a detail of the account before we act, so that nobody else can delete it. We will complete the deletion and confirm to you within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your account itself, including your email address and display name
  • Everything synced to it: prayer settings, madhab and calculation method, qadha records, bookmarks, verse notes, dhikr counts, reading position, calendar events, saved manual location and theme
  • The device identifiers used to keep your devices in sync

What is kept, and for how long

  • Bug reports you have submitted are kept for as long as we need them to diagnose and fix the issue reported, and are deleted once the issue is resolved or the report is no longer useful.
  • Data held on your own device is not affected by deleting your account. To remove that, uninstall the app or use Settings → Clear data on Android.

Deleting your account cannot be undone, and we cannot recover data afterwards. If you only want to stop syncing, sign out instead — your data stays on your device.
